Christmas Market Municipal Cave

In the festively lit marlstone corridors of the Municipal Cave (Gemeentegrot) in Valkenburg, you will find the largest underground Christmas market in Europe. At Christmas time the endless maze has been transformed into an extensive Christmas market for the real Christmas lover!

All stops have been pulled out to shroud every nook and cranny in the Christmas spirit: enjoy the richly decorated decors, hundreds of small lights and cosy stalls with gifts for yourself or for under the tree. Of course, you can also treat yourself to the drinks, dishes, snacks and delicacies that typically belong to a classic Christmasmarket…
